Safe Knife Handling Skills

Personal Injury involving knives can have a serious negative impact a person’s wellbeing. It can also result in days lost at work and have a sufficient influence on the business insurance policy. 

Information in this training programme is based on The Guide to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007: Use of Equipment.

On course completion, participants will have knowledge on Safe Knife Handling Skills and techniques on how to use, clean and store knifes. The dos and don’ts will be discussed. This course is suitable for any persons handling a knife as part of their job.

  • Demonstrate your knowledge & competency

Assessment: Written exam and a practical assessment using a knife.

Course duration: 2 hours

Certification:  Certification in Safe Knife Handling Techniques 

Maximum no of participants: 12 persons
